Top Gear tries the Tesla Roadster - Top Gear, one of the emissions symbols of the BBC on the automotive sector is to test the Tesla Roadster, the famous sports car 100% electrical assembly in California by a former founder of PayPal.

Based on the chassis of the Lotus Elise, the Tesla in fully powered by electric batteries, and reaches 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds.

The fact that it is currently one of the electric cars the fastest in the world, is not necessarily a sign of quality, despite it rejects more CO2 into the air, the weight of its batteries and is therefore no nothing to aid maneuverability and reliability. Moreover, the burden can sometimes exceed 10 hours.

But overall, I must admit that the design is neat, and it breaks new ground in terms of ecology, remains to be seen how all these recycle batteries.

Jeremy Clarkson, one of the organizers and pilots of TV program was more favorable to hydrogen cars, such as the Honda FCX Clarity.
