Natasha Richardson died at 45

natasharichardson-140Natasha Richardson died – Daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave, married (15 years) from the actor Liam Neeson, Natasha Richardson died Wednesday March 18, following a skiing accident at Mont-Tremblant (Quebec). She was in a coma since her transfer to New York, where her family had joined earlier in the day. Liam Neeson has stopped filming in Toronto to get to the bedside of his wife and mother of his two children.

Richardson had a film career discreet with mostly supporting roles (Fat Man and Little Boy, Nell, Maid in Manhattan). She obtained distinctions in important films like The Handmade’s Tale, Widow’s Peak and especially Asylum (released in 2005). It consisted of the characters often cracked on the edge of the psychotic break.

She was an actress primarily known on stage with pieces as diverse as The Seagull, Closer, High Society, Hamlet, A Streetcar Named Desire. She had earned a prestigious Tony Award for her performance on Broadway in Cabaret.

Natasha Richardson was also highly respected for her charity work. Since the death of her father, producer Tony Richardson, she was deeply involved in the fight against AIDS.
